A Life of Double Standards
There was a season in my life when I got saved at nine years old.But even though I was saved, I kept sinning. From the age of nine to nineteen, I would describe my life as a life with Jesus — but full of sin!
I had no real conviction of sin.I was intentionally sinning, even while I prayed and went to church.I lived a double life.I was addicted to pornography.I surrounded myself with friends and influences that were far from God.I was full of fear, and to escape that fear, I turned to sin.Sin gave me temporary satisfaction. But deep inside, I knew there was something more — that God had a greater destiny for my life.My heart was not repentant.I was lying, manipulating, and sinking deeper into sin.
My Mother's Prayers
In India, the 12th-grade exam is a big deal — and I failed. It was humiliating for me and for my family. But my mom didn’t scold me.She didn’t pressure me for good grades. She simply prayed!
I believe with all my heart that it was her prayers that changed my life — and because of her prayers, God is using me today.
Water Baptism — A Step of Obedience
A few months later, after failing the exam, my mom sent me to a revival meeting. It was there that I decided to get baptized in water.
Honestly, I didn’t fully understand baptism at that time.I did it because others were doing it.In my mind, I thought I already had a relationship with Jesus.
After I was baptized, I stood in line as the pastors prayed for people.Nothing dramatic happened immediately. But one pastor laid hands on me and prayed for me to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.Something shifted.I started speaking in tongues — but I didn’t feel anything very powerful right away.I just felt cold, standing there drenched in water!
When Everything Began to Change
When I went home — that’s when everything began to change.Suddenly, I wanted to pray.I craved a deeper relationship with Jesus.I naturally didn’t want to sin anymore.Sin became distant.Prayer became real.
The Day I Met God's Presence
A few months after that, I visited a church known for carrying the tangible presence of God — All Peoples Church.
The moment I stepped through the doors, I broke down in tears.I didn’t know why — but I knew it was the presence of God.
That one moment changed everything.I had come into contact with the manifest, tangible presence of the Living God.
Marked Forever
I had experienced smaller encounters before. But the measure of God's glory I experienced that day was higher, deeper, and stronger than anything I had ever known.
That one encounter set me apart forever.I could not go back.I would never return.
The satisfaction of being in God's presence was greater than anything sin had ever offered me.
Everything in my life traces back to that day — the day God's tangible presence touched me.
The Refining — Letting Go of Ishmaels
Then came the refining.I had to let go of things that I really wanted — or thought I wanted.I had to let go of my Ishmaels, not my Isaacs.
It wasn’t the sacrifices that were the hardest. It was letting go of the things that I had birthed in my own strength — the things that I thought were promises but weren’t from God.
Letting go of Ishmaels was painful, but it was necessary for God to move.
Blessings and Baptism of Fire
After the refining came blessings — and immediately after the blessings came the baptism of fire.
I was baptized in the fire of God.Everything intensified — the passion, the calling, the surrender.
The Vision for One Billion Souls
After the fire, God gave me a vision — the vision to bring one billion souls to Jesus.
It was so much bigger than anything I had ever imagined for my life.
Apostolic Calling and Walking in Destiny
A few years later, the Lord called me into the apostolic ministry. He confirmed it, appointed it, and sent me.
Now, we are walking in the promises of God — believing and working toward the vision:to bring one billion souls into the Kingdom of God!
📖 Abraham’s Journey: 8 Powerful Revelation Points
By Apostle Praisim Peter
1. First Encounter — Obedience Before Knowing the Destination
Revelation: Abraham obeys God, leaves his old life behind, and steps into the unknown.
Word for Us: God won't always tell you where you’re going! You need faith to get on the journey, even without full clarity.
📖 Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV)
Now the Lord had said to Abram:"Get out of your country,From your familyAnd from your father's house,To a land that I will show you.I will make you a great nation;I will bless youAnd make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you,And I will curse him who curses you;And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
2. After the First Step — The Promise Comes
Revelation: Once the first step of faith is taken, the promise of God follows.
Word for Us: Movement by faith activates God's voice over your life.
📖 Genesis 12:7 (NKJV)
Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said,"To your descendants I will give this land."And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.
3. Separation from Lot — A Painful but Necessary Shift
Revelation: Best friends, family, and even people you love deeply may have to leave you.
Lot was Abraham’s nephew — someone close, like a brother. They had walked together for years, but their destinies could not continue together.
Word for Us: Sometimes, God will separate you from people you love so He can expand your vision and your future.
📖 Genesis 13:14-17 (NKJV)
And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:"Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are — northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.
And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you."
4. Meeting Melchizedek — Divine Alignment and Activation
Revelation: After separation, Abraham goes into war and brings the spoils meets Melchizedek — a king and a priest — and activates heavenly promises through honor, communion (bread and wine), and tithing.
Word for Us: Honor connects you to the blessing. Divine encounters happen after letting go of what’s holding you back.
📖 Genesis 14:18-20 (NKJV)
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said:"Blessed be Abram of God Most High,Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High,Who has delivered your enemies into your hand."And he gave him a tithe of all.
5. The Covenant Vision — Surrender Unlocks Destiny
Revelation: After letting go of Lot and meeting Melchizedek, God appears to Abraham in a vision and makes a formal covenant.
Word for Us: Visions and covenants come after surrendering what you thought you needed.
📖 Genesis 15:1-6 (NKJV)
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,"Do not be afraid, Abram.I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward."But Abram said, "Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?"Then Abram said, "Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!"
And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying,"This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir."Then He brought him outside and said,"Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them."And He said to him,"So shall your descendants be."And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.
6. Appointment and Renaming Abraham from Abram— Identity Shift Comes After Vision
Revelation: After the vision, God appoints Abraham and changes his name from Abram to Abraham.
Word for Us: When God appoints you, He also renames you. Your identity shifts to match your destiny!
📖 Genesis 17:1-8 (NKJV)
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,"I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:"As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you."
7. Letting Go of Fleshly Conceptions — Ishmael Must Go
Revelation: Abraham must let go of Ishmael — the son born of human effort and fleshly striving.
Word for Us: You must release what you produced by the flesh before you can fully walk in what God promised by the Spirit.
📖 Genesis 21:12-13 (NKJV)
But God said to Abraham,"Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman.Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.Yet I will also make a nation of the son of the bondwoman, because he is your seed."
8. Laying Down the Promise — Ultimate Trust Test
Revelation: After everything, God asks Abraham to lay down Isaac — the very promise God Himself gave.
Word for Us: The ultimate test is not laying down your mistakes — it’s laying down your promises.
📖 Genesis 22:1-2, 11-18 (NKJV)
Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him,"Abraham!"And he said, "Here I am."Then He said,"Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said,"Abraham, Abraham!"So he said, "Here I am."And He said,"Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said:"By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore;and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
9. After Complete Surrender, God Reaffirmed and Multiplied His Covenant.
God reconfirmed the covenant — but this time, it was even stronger and sealed by God's own oath.
Genesis 22:15-18 (NKJV)
Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said:"By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore;and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
FINAL:
Genesis 24:1 (NKJV)
"Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things."
